The first step in self-control.
I used to try to control everything, including my husband and children.
A few years ago, I found out I was wrong.
I realized that I should change myself, which meant growing my inner heart, instead of trying to change others.
That was my mind's revolution.
I try to accept everything with gratitude and forgiveness, but of course sometimes it is not easy.
But I think this is the first step in self-control.

I taught American young people how to endure difficulty. I thoroughly taught them the principle that a person must be able to rule himself before he can rule the universe.
My teachings provided a new inspiration to American young people living in an age of confusion.
They shouted in agreement with my message of sexual purity and true families.
The mind cannot be seen with the eye or held in the hand.
Yet, we clearly are ruled by our mind.
Without our minds, we are nothing.
Then I talked about true love, God-centered love, which should guide the mind.
I said that true freedom can be enjoyed only when we have a clear understanding of ourselves based on a foundation of true love and are able to exercise self-control.

when we open our hearts and listen to what nature is saying,,,,
I love nature, I think many people do.
I think we can relate to nature with our gratitude.
I remember when I was walking with my dog, I looked down and said to the ground "Because of your support, we can stand on the earth."
And suddenly tears started to come out of my eyes.

The young people were caught up in the immoral culture of the cities and enslaved in selfish lives, so I talked to them about the preciousness of nature.
Nature is given to us by God.
God speaks to us by through nature.
It is a sin to destroy nature for the sake of a moment of enjoyment or an insignificant amount of money.
The nature that we destroy eventually will make its way back to us in the form of pollutants and make life difficult for our descendants.
We need to go back to nature and listen to what nature tells us.I told the young people of America that when we open our hearts and listen to what nature is saying,
we can hear the word of God.

In the middle of a wave in my life
In the middle of a wave in my life, I would like to be calm like a fish.
Believing that the storm will finish sooner rather than later.
And I imagine that I will be a deep and beautiful person since I persevered through the storm.
I am sure my heart and soul will shine.
And I will bring it to heaven after I have accomplished this in my physical life.

The ocean, however, can be calm one minute but then quickly change its face and send us strong waves.
Waves several times the height of a person will rise up above the boat. Think of this the boat, as if to devour it.
A strong wind will tear at the sail and make a fearful sound.
Think of this, though. Even when the waves have risen and a fearful wind is blowing, the fish in the water have no trouble sleeping.
They give themselves over to the waves and don't resist them.
This is what I learned from the fish.
I decided not to be afraid, no mater how strong the waves were.
I let the waves carry me.
I made myself one with the boat, and we rose with the waves.
Once I started doing that, my heart was never shaken, no matter what kind of waves I came up against.

Religious Kidnapping & Forced Conversion
victim Escapes from 120-day Confinement
A website “Religious Kidnapping & Forced Conversion” reported Ms.N.I.’s escape from 121-day confinement. Here is a story of Ms N.I., translated by Yoshi - this blog’s owner.
It was found out that Ms Kyouko KAWASAKI* who is a director of NPO “Home of Life” was involved in the “family discussion session”in the 121-day confinement. Also a person who claimed to be a Christian counselor visited the confinement site to provide mental care for Ms N.I.’s parents, and the person knew and accepted the Ms N.I.’s confinement.
While she accepted the above demands, she kept her faith. However, she felt like she had reached the limit in the endless confinement. Also her family members became psychologically unstable.

Ms N.I. (34 years old, company employee) went missing on Jan 3, 2012 after visiting her parents. Ms N.I. learned the Divine Principle in 1998 when she was a university student in Tokyo, and joined the Unification Church. She informed her family of her faith. She planned to attend the Unification Church Wedding Ceremony held in March 2012. She belonged to Adachi Church in Tokyo when she went missing.
Around 11:00am on May 2, 2012, she managed to escape by herself from the private prison in Mito-city, Ibaraki (70 km North East from Tokyo).
It was found out that Ms Kyouko KAWASAKI* who is a director of NPO “Home of Life” was involved in the “family discussion session”in the 121-day confinement. Also a person who claimed to be a Christian counselor visited the confinement site to provide mental care for Ms N.I.’s parents, and the person knew and accepted the Ms N.I.’s confinement.
According to Ms N.I., she was persuaded to do the followings;
· To explain the Divine Principe to her family members
· To give up attending the Church Wedding Ceremony in Korea
· To re-consider her life after leaving the church
· To listen to ex-members and specialists
· To learn other religions
· To read materials which criticize the Unification Church
While she accepted the above demands, she kept her faith. However, she felt like she had reached the limit in the endless confinement. Also her family members became psychologically unstable.
One day, N.I. miraculously found out the combination of the numbers to unlock the lock which was installed on the front door. She was determined to escape and waited for an opportunity. Then the chance arrived, and she carried out her plan.
The pictures here are those actually fitted at the door of the confinement site. She brought them with her when she escaped.
