To accept reality with gratitude

I had an opportunity to go to New York City with my friend.
Unfortunately we were stuck in the middle of  traffic.
He cursed and said things like "stupid car" or "stupid man" or F word so on.

I felt sorry for him.
He has to listen to those kind of negative words the whole day from himself.

And I got a deep realization.

Everything happening has meaning in our lives.
We can grow our character to accept and digest reality.
Because God would give us circumstances to grow.

I think my friend cannot accept what is happening in the present or reality, and that makes him curse so he doesn't have to face reality.

When we accept reality, we will get peace in our mind and we can grow into a deeper-minded person.
So we can be happy and be grateful for whatever happen to us (include bad things,---bad things may turn into good things with gratitude).

Half Full with Full of Gratitude.

Unfortunately some people when feel unhappy or become angry, they think about the reason why that person did that to make them feel that way.

But let's think about it.
Who feels angry or upset? It is themselves.

They are controlled by circumstances. That is a problem. They have the causes in themselves.

We have to be a subject and influence the circumstances, and should not be influenced by circumstances.

It is half full or it is half empty.

If you think half empty, you are a negative and complaining person.

Let's think half full with full of gratitude.

Congratulations. my son !!!

I attended my son's college graduation at Cooper Union. He is going to study another year at a graduate school.

This is a great accomplishment for him.

I remember his kindergarten graduation when he received his graduation certificate, just like a video tape in my mind.
I couldn't imagine that this time has come again.

He is starting to enter into another level of his life.

And I am happy to be involved with this part of his life.

There is no failure in our lives.

Because we can learn by all of our experiences.

We need to just have a positive attitude full of gratitude even when we face difficulties.

Congratulations!!!

After we die..............

My friend said when he dies, he wants his body to be thrown away.
He does not believe in the spiritual body.
He has such a sad life, so he couldn't believe in eternal life.

Every parent tells their children to be good.
Do not steal, do not kill, etc.
If there is no spiritual world, why would we have to be good?
We can do bad things if no one knows it.
Good people and bad people have the same value which will disappear after they die.

But we will bring all our deeds and what we did in the physical world.
If we have resentment for someone or we did bad things in the phsical world, our spirit will become evil. And it will bring suffering in the spiritual world.

So all religions say "love your enemy" to avoid going to hell.

I would like to get eternal happiness not temporary happiness.

No one can see God, but we can feel God's love and he will guide us.

I would like to have a young mind forever,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

Recently I found out that flowers come first on the trees and then leaves come next.
It surprised me.
Because the flower's color was baby green, so I thought they were leaves.
To keep only our own ideas is sometimes dangerous.

I think young people's minds are softer and flexible, which have a hope to grow.

But old people's minds are harder and more stubborn, and they have a strong idea of which ideas to accept or reject.

Old people can have young people's minds, and young people can have old people's minds.

I would like to have a young mind forever with positive thinking and a positive attitude plus gratitude.

I heard gratitude is a great attitude.

Crown of Glory

We are all created to be great men and women.

"It is difficult to find young people today who are passionate about their lives.
We find so many young people who have no goal or purpose for their lives.  They are just wandering around.

We are all created to be great men and women.
God did not send us into this world without purpose.
When God created us He invested His complete love into each person.
We are all created for greatness.

I became a completely different person when I began to love God.
I loved humanity more than myself and was more concerned with the problems of others than with the problems of my family.
I loved everything that God created.
I deeply loved the trees on the hills and the fish in the waters. " ~Rev Moon

Since I realized God's love, I try to love everyone around me, especially my family.
Family is a school of love.
Since our house is an empty nest, I love nature more than ever before.
My husband and I saw a beautiful bright woodpecker today that was eating out of the bird feeder.
