Some people live longer and some people die earlier, but everyone has 24 hours in a day to accomplish something.

Young people often stay up until late at night to play a computer game or watch a movie.

When I was young, I could not imagine that I would be old someday.

I am over 50.
I would like to accomplish something each day before going to sleep.

Awareness is important.

When people start thinking about the purpose of life, they will be too busy to waste time.

I have been learning the tea ceremony,,,,,,,,,

I have been learning the tea ceremony for about a year.

Recently I discovered a wonderful thing.

When I followed the exact form as my teacher said, I could feel "mind and body unity" and peace in my mind.

The teacher also said " it is a beautiful form". And it makes me so happy.

I think we can find peace, beauty, freedom, when we can unite the law of universe.

Our fallen nature does not want us to follow the law, rule, and forms, and then makes us suffer.

If we want to get real freedom, I think we have to follow Truth.

The truth will set you free.

I went to a gas station.

I went to a gas station.
And while I was pumping, I thought that it was so slow.
A man next me was cursing the gas station.
It was such an ugly behavior.

Maybe he didn't sleep so much last night or he was just tired.
But in any kind of circumstance self control is necessary.

It might be a small thing.
However people who believe in God think that world peace will start from that point.

There is a lot of snow.
I am glad that it is white, if it was another color it would make us crazy.
I heard that milk is made with blood, if it was a blood color, it would make us crazy.

You just have to find it.
When you come to a road-block, take a detour.
Go another direction.
Go over, under, around, or through it, but do not give up.
Have confidence in yourself., and you will find another route.

Our 14 year old dog, Abbey, died last month. The day after she died, my 4 year old daughter Meredith was crying and talking about how much she missed Abbey. She asked if we could write a letter to God so that when Abbey got to heaven, God would recognize her. I told her that I thought we could so she dictated these words:

Dear God,
Will you please take care of my dog? She died yesterday and is with you in heaven. I miss her very much. I am happy that you let me have her as my dog even though she got sick.
I hope you will play with her. She likes to play with balls and to swim. I am sending a picture of her so when you see her. You will know that she is my dog. I really miss her.

We put the letter in an envelope with a picture of Abbey and Meredith and addressed it to God/Heaven. We put our return address on it. Then Meredith pasted several stamps on the front of the envelope because she said it would take lots of stamps to get the letter all the way to heaven. That afternoon she dropped it into the letter box at the post office. A few days later, she asked if God had gotten the letter yet. I told her that I thought He had.
Yesterday, there was a package wrapped in gold paper on our front porch addressed, 'To Meredith , ' in an unfamiliar hand. Meredith opened it. Inside was a book by Mr. Rogers called, 'When a Pet Dies.' Taped to the inside front cover was the letter we had written to God in its opened envelope. On the opposite page was the picture of Abbey & Meredith and this note:

Dear Meredith,
Abbey arrived safely in heaven.
Having the picture was a big help. I recognized Abbey right away.
Abbey isn't sick anymore. Her spirit is here with me just like it stays in your heart. Abbey loved being your dog. Since we don't need our bodies in heaven, I don't have any pockets to keep your picture in, so I am sending it back to you in this little book for you to keep and have something to remember Abbey by.
Thank you for the beautiful letter and thank your mother for helping you write it and sending it to me. What a wonderful mother you have. I picked her especially for you.
I send my blessings every day and remember that I love you very much.
By the way, I'm easy to find, I am wherever there is love.

How lonely Jesus was!
All desiples who received a lot of love from Jesus ran away.
Jesus's mother did not say" Kill me instead of my son."
Jesus said "Turn another cheek, love your enemy."
This is what Jesus did.
Let's celebrate Christmas thinking of Jesus's lonely heart.

I went on a business trip.

I went on a business trip with my friend and her husband last weekend.
We went to Virginia and Maryland.
We ended up getting a flat tire in Delaware.
We went to 3 different stores to get a new tire.
It took the whole day.

We tried so hard to have a positive attitude.
"Thank God we are all fine.
There was not an accident, and we had an extra tire.
Thank God for such beautiful weather." So on and so on.
And then the second and third day were so successful.
I believe that positive words are so powerful to keep yourself going.

My daughter always says that my car is stupid.
It is so painful to hear that.

MY car has been working so hard for the last 4 years.
She is old and makes a lot of noise, but I still I love her.

There's a famous story that a cup of water was given beautiful words and music, another one was given cursing words and a noisy sound.
How is it different?
I am sure everyone knows this story.
Even water can respond to our words, it is the same as my car.
I heard another story about two plants, one receives beautiful words and the other receives cursing words.
The plant which has been receiving cursing words died. The other plant bloomed beautifully.

I think we should express our love with words to make everyone, including all things, happy.
I think THANK YOU are some of the most beautiful words.

At the end of year many charities are asking for donations.
Some people might say "I don't have anything to give" or "I need your help."

My daughter's friend found out that she has cancer.
My daughter told me she lost all of her hair.
No one knows our future.
We cannot decide when we die, we cannot choose our own birthday or our own parents.

When I was a little child I heard a story from my grandma about a man that ran away from Budda,
but he was still inside of Budda's hand.

Scientists might be so proud of their work, but it is just discovering something from nature which is created by God.
They are just using God's material to make a discovery.

Human beings are so small, therefore we have to be humble.
