Power of Human Righs Education

Please click below.
This is the video of Human Rights Education which was showed in the UN (Human rights event)  last month.

http://path-to-dignity.org/film-english

Human rights education is absolutely necessary.
Because  God loves each one of us as His children.
Therefore we should respect each other as our brothers and sisters even if we have a different religions or races, poor or rich , and women or me0n.

I think that World Peace will come through the Human rights education.
What do you think?

A tool of happy marriage

I think that it is not easy to forgive or accept someone's short coming.
However if we can think this way, it will become much easier.
Everyone has a limitation. I think limitation has a challenging spirit.

I can accept and forgive someone's limitation and same as my own limitation.
And I can keep challenging to become better person.

And there is one more thing  I realized.
I try to be happy when my husband is happy. I am happy when I am trying to make him happy.

I think this is the key of the happy relationship of husband and wife.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

It is most important to teach young people about the sanctity and value of marriage.

We marry not for ourselves but for the sake of our partners.
When looking for a spouse, it is wrong to look only for a beautiful face or for a person living well.

Human beings must live for the sake of each other.

World Peace starts with peaceful families that create peaceful societies and eliminate conflict among countries. This will lead to World Peace.

Marriage is not something that involves just the bride and groom.

When a white person and a black person marry, it contribute to reconciliation between the two races.

"Why did I marry this man? If I hadn't married this man, I would have had a better life." is setting the tone for a marriage that will be hell.

Marriage is not a simple matter of a man and woman of marriageable age coming together and combining their two lives.

Marriage is something built on the basis of sacrifice.
The man must live for the sake of  the woman, and the woman for the sake of the man.

As you continue to live for the sake of your spouse, your selfish mind disappears completely.

Love is not a man and woman meeting each other and having a good time.
Love is offering up your life. ~As a Peace-Loving Gloval Citizen

I wonder who will be able to go to Heaven?

I wonder who will be able to go to Heaven?
If people feel guilty for what they have done because of their conscience, I think that  they cannot go to Heaven.

Everyone has a conscience which has many levels.

Therefore we cannot lie or hide for our conscience.
Even if we could lie to others, we cannot lie to ourselves.

The guilt makes us suffer forever. That is Hell.

Family is the core for the world.
We have to make peace in our family to make world peace.
Family members should not feel guilty for each other.

Husband and wife should not make secret, also between parent and children.
They should not be two faced.

It is a good time to confess everything before new year 2013, and we can have a new start.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The family is the only institution created by God.
It is the school of love where people can learn how to love each other and live together in peace,
and it is the training center where we practice how to build a palace of peace in the world.

It is where we learn how to become a husband or wife who will live for the sake of our spouse and how to become a husband or wife who will travel on the eternal path of love.

The family is the base camp for world peace, and it must be such that the children will say, "We have never seen mother and father fight."

I received the most precious thing from the most precious person.

My husband and I have been married for 30 years  on July 1st 2012.

I had often thought why God gave this man to me.
Now I feel  that I am so happy and lucky to be married  with him.

I had never dated  any other man before  marriage.

I think it helps to keep our marriage.
Because I did not have anyone to compare with my husband as  my spouse.

I often thought that I never want to marriage with another man, because it is not easy  to love one man for me to share my life.

Now I am so proud I have one man  whom  Rev Moon gave to me as a my spouse.
I received the most precious thing from the most precious persons who are Rev .Mrs Moon we call them  True Parents.

Peace maker

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Chastity before marriage and fidelity in marriage are of utmost importance.
This is what I teach so people can live to their highest potential as human beings, creating and maintaining healthy families.

Marriage is more than a simple coming together of a man and woman.
It is a precious ceremony of commitment to carry on God's work of creation.
Mariage is the path by which a man and woman become as one, create new life, and establish true love.

Through marriage, a new future is created; Society are formed; nation are built.
God's world of peace is realized with married families at the center.
It is in the family that God's Kingdom of Heaven is brought about.

So husband and wives must be centers of peace. Not only must there be love between husband and wife, but the couple must also be able to bring harmony to their extended families.
It is not enough that the husband and wife live well together in love.
All the relatives must love each other as well.  .........................

However, the doors of love are designed by God and are to open only when the time is right.
Children must understand that they need to wait for the right time.
Love is a process by which we grow to resemble God.
Despite what the world may tell us, it is not something to be enjoyed anytime we please.

Why we say, "Do not give a knife to a child"? The child might understand how to cut with a knife, but he cuts without control.  ......

The first step in self-control.

I used to try to control everything, including my husband and children.
A few years ago, I found out I was wrong.

I realized that I should change myself, which meant growing my inner heart, instead of trying to change others.
That was my mind's revolution.
I try to accept everything with gratitude and forgiveness, but of course sometimes it is not easy.
But I think this is the first step in self-control.

=====================================================

I taught American young people how to endure difficulty. I thoroughly taught them the principle that a person must be able to rule himself before he can rule the universe.

My teachings provided a new inspiration to American young people living in an age of confusion.

They shouted in agreement with my message of sexual purity and true families.

The mind cannot be seen with the eye or held in the hand.
Yet, we clearly are ruled by our mind.
Without our minds, we are nothing.

Then I talked about true love, God-centered love, which should guide the mind.

I said that true freedom can be enjoyed only when we have a clear understanding of ourselves based on a foundation of true love and are able to exercise self-control.

when we open our hearts and listen to what nature is saying,,,,

I love nature, I think many people do.
I think we can relate to nature with our gratitude.
I remember when I was walking with my dog, I looked down and said to the ground "Because of your support, we can stand on the earth."

And suddenly tears started to come out of my eyes.

 ~Peace maker

 ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The young people were caught up in the immoral culture of the cities and enslaved in selfish lives, so I talked to them about the preciousness of nature.

Nature is given to us by God.
God speaks to us by through nature.
It is a sin to destroy nature for the sake of a moment of enjoyment or an insignificant amount of money.
The nature that we destroy eventually will make its way back to us in the form of pollutants and make life difficult for our descendants.

We need to go back to nature and listen to what nature tells us.I told the young people of America that when we open our hearts and listen to what nature is saying,
we can hear the word of God.

In the middle of a wave in my life

In the middle of a wave in my life, I would like to be calm like a fish.

Believing that the storm will finish sooner rather than later.

And I imagine that I will be a deep and beautiful person since I persevered through the storm.

I am sure my heart and soul will shine.
And I will bring it to heaven after I have accomplished this in my physical life.

Peace Maker
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The ocean, however, can be calm one minute but then quickly change its face and send us strong waves.
Waves several times the height of a person will rise up above the boat. Think of this the boat, as if to devour it.

A strong wind will tear at the sail and make a fearful sound.

Think of this, though. Even when the waves have risen and a fearful wind is blowing, the fish in the water have no trouble sleeping.
They give themselves over to the waves and don't resist them.
This is what I learned from the fish.

I decided not to be afraid, no mater how strong the waves were.
I let the waves carry me.

I made myself one with the boat, and we rose with the waves.
Once I started doing that, my heart was never shaken, no matter what kind of waves I came up against.

The ocean has been such a wonderful teacher for me and my life.~~~As a Peace Loving Global Citizen

Religious Kidnapping & Forced Conversion

victim Escapes from 120-day Confinement

A website “Religious Kidnapping & Forced Conversion” reported Ms.N.I.’s escape from 121-day confinement.  Here is a story of Ms N.I., translated by Yoshi - this blog’s owner.
Ms N.I. (34 years old, company employee) went missing on Jan 3, 2012 after visiting her parents.  Ms N.I. learned the Divine Principle in 1998 when she was a university student in Tokyo, and joined the Unification Church.  She informed her family of her faith.  She planned to attend the Unification Church Wedding Ceremony held in March 2012.  She belonged to Adachi Church in Tokyo when she went missing.
Around 11:00am on May 2, 2012, she managed to escape by herself from the private prison in Mito-city, Ibaraki (70 km North East from Tokyo).

It was found out that Ms Kyouko KAWASAKI* who is a director of NPO “Home of Life” was involved in the “family discussion session”in the 121-day confinement. Also a person who claimed to be a Christian counselor visited the confinement site to provide mental care for Ms N.I.’s parents, and the person knew and accepted the Ms N.I.’s confinement.
According to Ms N.I., she was persuaded to do the followings;
·         To explain the Divine Principe to her family members
·         To give up attending the Church Wedding Ceremony in Korea
·         To re-consider her life after leaving the church
·         To listen to  ex-members and specialists
·         To learn other religions
·         To read materials which criticize the Unification Church

While she accepted the above demands, she kept her faith.  However, she felt like she had reached the limit in the endless confinement.  Also her family members became psychologically unstable.
One day, N.I. miraculously found out the combination of the numbers to unlock the lock which was installed on the front door.  She was determined to escape and waited for an opportunity.  Then the chance arrived, and she carried out her plan.
The pictures here are those actually fitted at the door of the confinement site.  She brought them with her when she escaped.
Ms N.I. took these with her in escaping.

Without unlocking the lock and
removing the cylinder,
the door can never be turned.

1. Kyouko KAWASAKI - She is a Christian minister who is actively involved in deprogramming in Japan. This lady was relating to Yukari's confinement in my previous article.

Young Unificationists Rally at University of Hawaii to Decry Faith-breaking in Japan

Young Unificationists Rally at University of Hawaii to Decry Faith-breaking in Japan

Young Unificationists of the Collegiate Association for the Research of Principles (CARP) chapter at the University of Hawaii at Manoa held an event titled “Japan’s Hidden Shame” that addressed the abductions and illegal confinements of Unification Church members in Japan on March 7, 2012. The purpose of the event was to raise awareness about faith-breaking, as over 4,000 adults in Japan have been victims of kidnapping and torture in the name of religious de-conversion since 1970. Organizers of the event also aimed to put political pressure on Japan’s government to act upon these human rights violations.

The "Japan's Hidden Shame" event, which raised awareness about faith-breaking, was organized by the CARP chapter at the University of Hawaii at Manoa.

Second-generation Unificationist Takaaki Ito, a member of CARP Hawaii, opened the event by talking about the abductions still going on in Japan today. According to Ito, Japan’s traditional religious beliefs are rooted deeply in Buddhism and Shinto, and during the past 40 years, families have taken extreme measures to de-convert or “de-program” members of minority groups such as the Unification Church and Jehovah’s Witnesses. Many families are often assisted by hired de-programmers, who include so-called exit counselors, Protestant pastors and former members of marginalized religions. There are even businesses that offer de-programming services for a price.

“The media has painted a bad image of these churches, and they are marginalized religions. Therefore, the police are afraid to do anything,” said Ito. “If it’s a family thing, [the police and media] step out. … That’s not a bad system, but it is being abused. Family is very important but in Japan, individual rights are not very respected, and it’s a problem.”

In order to regain their freedom, some victims fake de-conversion. Some are successfully de-converted, and some escape, as Toru Goto and Luke Higuchi were able to do. Victims have reported being beaten, starved and raped while in confinement. These crimes have been reported by victims after they regained their freedom, but very few cases have been won.
“The police, the courts, the media – say they don’t have enough proof to address these cases. But we have all the proof,” said Ito.

At the event, members from the Oahu Lovin’ Life Ministries sang a Japanese song in the spirit of supporting their brothers and sisters in Japan. Hawaii State Unification Church Pastor Rev. Ernie Ho welcomed those in attendance, and a video presentation followed, showing several testimonies of Japanese Unificationists who were victims of kidnappings at the hands of faith-breakers.

Three Japanese Unificationists took the stage to offer their testimonies as victims of forced de-conversion: Mrs. Kumiko Saito, a resident of Hawaii, who was abducted by her relatives but who eventually escaped, Mr. Toru Goto, who was confined and tortured by faith-breakers and family members for 12 years and Mr. Luke Higuchi, the founder and president of Survivors Against Forced Exit (SAFE).

Freedom Riders Cheered by Rights Activists in Los Angeles

On a sunny day in downtown Los Angeles, John Seijin Tranberg and Joshua Wildman biked in toward the finish line of their 2,300-mile journey for victims of abduction in Japan. They had begun the Faith, Freedom and Family ride at the State Capitol in Atlanta 45 days before. Awaiting them at the Japanese-American Cultural Community Center (JACCC) in LA's "Little Tokyo" was a rally intent on bringing awareness of religious persecution of religious people around the world. After breaking through the finish line, they made a victory lap around the crowd, all the while showered with cheers and confetti. The gathering of ministers and Unificationists congratulated them and listened intently to a teach-in about the seriousness of faith-breaking efforts against Unificationists in Japan. In attendance were representatives from multiple religious groups gathered for the cause of religious freedom.

Seijin Tranberg, Joshua Wildman, and their parents pose for a photo with Dr. Nicholas Benson, Imam Haitham Bundakji, and Luke Higuchi

Dr. Nicholas Benson gives a touching speech with young Unificationists wearing kimonos in the background.

Kazue Saberan, a survivor of "deprogramming," gave a moving testimony about her experience.

Welcoming Tranberg and Wildman to the JACCC were about 60 supporters joined by another 100 people coming and going, listening to parts of the rally throughout the day. The rally started with performances from the rock band Origin, whose musicians later said that they felt the grace of the day.

“I had a good time singing. It was an honor to sing for a worthy cause,” said Daejo Garratt, lead singer of Origin. “Seeing people come together impacted me, because Seijin and Josh weren't asked to do this. No one was asked to rally for Japan, but they did it anyway,” he said. “Keeping loved ones in your heart and standing up for them even when they don't ask. It was powerful.”

Luke Higuchi, president of a victims’ support group called Survivors Against Forced Exit (SAFE) gave the opening speech with a testimony of his own experience of being captured by deprogrammers. Kazue Saberan, a Japanese-American resident of Tarzana, CA, shared her experiences as well.

"When I was 19 years old, I met the Unification Church and the life-giving truth from Rev. and Mrs. Moon," she said. "As I was preparing to join the Unification Church in 1985, I was kidnapped by a communist group, and they kept me in one place against my will for three months. When I found the chance to run away, I did." Her words underscored a vast improvement to her life after escaping the faithbreakers. She explained, "I was married to Mr. Mansoor Saberan in 1989. I have three beautiful children who are the loves of my life. I am very proud of my family because I can feel that God is in my family every day, and I can see God’s blessing in my children. My life has not been without challenges, and I never expected it to be. But I am living my dream. Every day that I live, I thank God I stayed faithful to Jesus and to the founders of the Unification Church.”

Imam Haitham Bundakji of the Orange County Islamic Society addressed the importance of religious freedom. As a highly distinguished Muslim leader, he has traveled to Washington D.C. to speak to senators about religious freedom. He asked us, the audience, to join him in this battle, saying, “Let’s be united, let’s be together; Muslim, Christians, and Jews. Just as the bombs on Hiroshima and Nagasaki were bombs of hatred, it’s a bomb of hatred when you kidnap someone to prevent them from practicing their religion.”

Although scheduled to speak, Don Garrick, a prominent Mormon and a leader in interfaith activities, fell sick. Yet, he still felt he needed to write words to support the rally. Susan Munsell read a written testimony from Mr. Garrick on his behalf, saying, “Religious persecution is real. We have seen it and experienced it. There is still a battle ahead of us, but there is also victory ahead of us, and the victory starts here today. Thank you Mr. Tranberg and Mr. Wildman for sharing your victory with us!”
Dr. Nicholas Bensen, a Lutheran clergyman, said he was surprised and devastated to see a democratic country such as Japan subject to criminal practices. He invoked the words of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., who said in 1963: “Injustice anywhere is injustice everywhere." Dr. Benson enjoined the crowd to stick together: “We cannot let any of us, one group, be subject to this injustice. One group affects us all.”

Don Makowski then read a letter of endorsement of the Freedom Ride from Congressman Trent Franks of Arizona.
Tranberg told the well-wishers that he couldn't believe he had made it so far. He completed his speech by giving Higuchi a tree of 1,000 paper cranes that was prepared by the community. As the Japanese legend goes, making 1,000 cranes will bring the power to grant one wish. Truly, on this special occasion, many members and guests were united in wishing for fair treatment and religious freedom for our brothers and sisters in Japan.
Despite the celebratory nature of the day, we were fully aware that the fight for religious freedom must continue to be fought. Tranberg and Wildman may have blazed a path, but it is up to all of us to pave it.

The following are testimonies at the rally:

“The event was very special and a necessary function in which representatives from different faiths get together to support Unification Church members to promote the highest values (human rights and freedom of religion) which come from Heavenly Father. Bike riders Seijin and Josh did a wonderful job; that was a testimony to the power of youth and God’s justice represented by them, and all that participants can join in heart with the suffering people in Japan – as well as with all the people who are suffering this religious persecution. We as God’s children continually support this cause.”
-Rev. Carlos Torres, Christian Minister

“Going there made me aware that places like Japan don't have religious freedom. This isn't just about Unificationsists, but about everyone. It makes me both angry and sad; it makes me want to do more. It strengthens my personal resolve to hold onto my own faith. I am grateful that Seijin and Josh took a stand. I hope it gets better for both myself and others.”
-Takafumi Sasaki, 22, Alhambra, CA

“It is remarkable that Seijin and Josh would do this partially for their own personal growth, but also to make an impact in the world. It's outstanding that they would take time out from their busy lives, especially as young people, to bring light to this issue for others, in such a drastic way. The rally itself was beautiful, because everybody there came to fight for something important, especially because they supported something that hasn't directly affected them. Their heart was to look after their global brothers and sisters. I hope that everybody can experience the right that we enjoy as Americans. I am proud to be a Unificationist, because we are taking action. I am proud to be one family under God.”
-Juliannah Vasquez, 20, Downey, CA

“I thought it was wonderful. What made the biggest impact to me was Kazue's testimony. I've known her for a long time, but I had no idea that she was kidnapped and tortured. Through both her testimony and that of Luke Higuchi, I realized that it's not just a parents' issue. There is the third party of kidnappers and torturers who go out to the parents to 'save' the children. It's not just a parents' issue. It's an issue concerning kidnappers who are torturing faith-believing people. I came to attend and support my friend, but I left shaking from the truth of the testimonies. I am very impressed by Kazue and glad that she is happy and blessed with children.”
-Yoshiko McClellan, Claremont, CA

“I have known Kazue for a long time, but I didn't know that she had been kidnapped and tortured. It hits a lot closer to home when it happens to somebody you know. I am impressed with Seijin and Josh. They are very admirable. They are causing a ripple effect that affects everyone in its path. It brought tears to my eyes when I listened to the testimonies [of the Japanese victims]. As I listened, in my head I said to myself, 'What confused and brutal parents they had.' I feel that kidnapping and torturing someone is worse than killing that person. Because it not just kills their spiritual body but it destroys their mind, freedom, faith, and dignity, which are the most beautiful parts about a person, the aspect of a person that is gifted by God. I am very moved and very inspired  and wish to go to Japan to help.”

Crazy College Boy Still Pedaling Across the US for Cause

Crazy College Boy Still Pedaling Across the US for Cause

CLICK BELOW:

Our heros, John  Seijin Tranburg and his buddy Josh Wildman, are bicycling across the US to raise awareness and funding for freedom of faith for all people across the world.  They’re somewhere around New Mexico now where they just got 8 to 10 inches of snow.
I interviewed Seijin and his dad, David, as well as survivor of kidnapping and confinement, Taeko, on my show yesterday.   Click on the button above and take a listen and find out if you actually can bicycle in 8 – 10 inces of snow.  Also, David shares his thoughts of Seijin growing up.  Taeko’s interview is here also, where she talks about how she was kidnapped and held against her will in a locked basement, but I’ll cover it again in more depth in my next post.
And for those who are following my interviews with Seijin, he did NOT ingest any bodily fluids on his cross country bicycle trip.
At least not yet.
Go to www.tourdecause.blogspot.com to find out more.
